the ask

Every year, SCAD develops a new creative concept for their admissions marketing campaign that can be utilized in everything from their catalog to native ads. Dalton was asked to help develop that creative theme for the year and then translate it into the various tactics used for recruitment.


the execution

Dalton came up with the recruitment theme: “SCAD. Shine here.” The message is one of empowerment, encouraging prospective students to attend a university that will not only help them reach their creative potential, but ultimately help them achieve a creative career. We executed unique landing pages per audience, with both fresh copy and design. We also produced high energy videos, animated display ads, social post and more. Media-wise, the Shine Here campaign targeted high school students, grad students, and parents of high school students with media that included, Facebook, Snap Chat, Tik Tok, YouTube, search ads, CTV, and more.

the results

SCAD saw a 60% boost in RFI forms – the highest number of applications in SCAD history.
