Dalton Donates More than 200 School Supplies Across Local Elementary and Middle Schools
At Dalton, we believe making a difference goes beyond the workplace. Dedicated to our mission of fostering diversity and inclusion through recruiting, training, and community involvement, our Diversity and Inclusion Group organized a back-to-school supply drive to support our local communities and families. This initiative aimed to ease the load on parents and schools, making sure kids have what they need for a successful school year.
Each office identified a local school in need, with a focus on those serving diverse and underprivileged students, where over 90% of the student population represents minorities. The Atlanta office supported Clay-Harmony Leland Elementary School, Nashville contributed to Napier Elementary School, and Jacksonville, in partnership with clients Lift Jax and the Historic Eastside CDC, assisted Matthew W. Gilbert Middle School.
After learning each school’s needs, our employees donated items based on specific lists provided by the schools. This collective effort allowed us to contribute more than 200 essential supplies, including backpacks, notebooks, binders, pencils and markers to students. Our DIG team representatives from each office then had the privilege to deliver the supplies and make a visit to each school.
This collaborative effort, driven by Dalton’s DIG team and our dedicated employees, underscores our commitment to giving back to our local communities. It’s not just an initiative; it’s part of our larger commitment, the Dalton Cares program.
